You are busy, we know…but are you too busy to devote ONE day to learning essential marketing and HR strategies that will improve your business?  Join us for a fun and lively one-day session about Communication and Commerce in Culinary Tourism on Wednesday October 21st in Halifax, hosted by Taste of Nova Scotia with the support of ACOA and Tourism Nova Scotia.  Topics covered will include digital marketing, email and e-commerce strategies, employee communication, diffusing conflict, and more.  Food, laughter, and surprises will be included in the day.  Additionally, you can sign up for a private 45-minute “business therapy” appointment on Thursday, October 22nd to get specific counsel for your own business.

The one-day workshop and business therapy sessions are being led by Redpoint Marketing PR from NYC, who some of you know as the organizer/host of two recent Taste of Nova Scotia Best Practices Missions.  New York, you say… yes Redpoint Marketing are the most passionate consultants Taste of Nova Scotia has ever had the opportunity to meet and they are the leaders in the their field for the hospitality and culinary tourism industry.  Redpoint are not another set of “come from away” consultants who think they know what’s best for Nova Scotia … Redpoint knows what we have in Nova Scotia, knows it can’t be duplicated anywhere else in the world and just want to be part of the success story!

We were able to convince Redpoint to stay around another day (wasn’t really that hard because they LOVE Nova Scotia) and provide 1 on 1 consulting opportunities with 14 companies.  Usually Redpoint’s hourly rate to consult with companies is $650.00 US but through the wonderful support of our partners ACOA and Tourism Nova Scotia plus Redpoint’s sincere desire to be in Nova Scotia as long as they can, the sessions are being offered for only $100.00 CAD / hour.

We have attached all of the information and are hoping you can find the  time to complete the applications.  Space is very limited and we want to ensure everyone is able to attend who wants to.   Looking forward to seeing you on the 21st!
